School check, tax refund, SURGERY...OH MY!!!
So on Saturday, I received a check from school. I was like, great, how little am I getting?......cuz I was not expecting to get too much back. I ended up with a check for $3,744! How sweet is that! Then I did my taxes............for federal I'll be getting $2,5--something, can't remember the exact amount and then for state it's $198. So guess what that means!!! SURGERY with GARRAMONE!!! I started to bawl my eyes out when I opened the check. I couldn't believe it, and honestly, I still cant!
I went and opened a bank account yesterday after work. So now I just have to wait a couple days to get my bank card in the mail and then I can call Garramone's office this week (or next week at the latest) to schedule my surgery date!
The only issue that I run across with this whole ordeal, is that in June Megan and I were going to go to Chicago to meet up with a few friends.........Well, it's one or the other......I can't do both.
I REALLY would like to post pone Chicago for a later date, but know some may be upset.................so I don't know. We will see. It all depends on what is available for surgery dates...........

When we do go, we have decided to drive and not fly I think. It will only take like 30 hours to get there. So spread it over 2 days. Not bad. Yes, I would prefer to fly, but why bother when flight tickets are as expensive as they are and there are two of us going, when we could spend $300 total on gas there and back?
Anyway, when something is set in stone, I'll update again. Probably do a video.
