The next thing to do is go into a job looking as nice as you can, because employers respond better to someone who is at the top of their game. It makes you look confident and professional. Professionalism is the key item to getting a job.
When you go in to turn in your resume: mention you are very interested in the job, ask for their number. You want to be able to contact them in about a week after turning in your resume. The reason for calling THEM is because that lets the employer know you still have interest and that you want to work for them. Showing initiative is the second key item to getting a job.
The last and most important thing, don't be overconfident. This is something that people think is really huge to getting a job, but it's not. A lot of employers become intimidated or even annoyed by overconfidence.
BY ALL MEANS: This doesn't mean things that you HAVE to do, but these are things I've noticed that work for me, so they may work for you too!!
