Not only am I pathetic waste of space, but I'm a horrible person to boot. Don't that just beat all? Sorry Jon, that your attempts to convince me of the opposite failed anyway.

In other, non-wanky news, I signed up for a fourth class--since it was a general elective, I got to pick something cool. :D Here's hoping I have two more general electives left for the two quarters after, otherwise I'll be a tad disappointed. I signed up for it after boarding the flight from Washington DC to Zurich (before takeoff, of course) via my BlackBerry. I wasn't sure if it had actually worked, since SIS had a shitfit and wouldn't let me log in/log out again, but once we got the house in Moraira I used my laptop (with the BB acting as a modem [as I told Rafal yesterday, read it and weep: 115.2 Kbps]) to log on and check it out. Go me! I'm sure there's at least one textbook for it, but apparently it's not set up with the bookstore, so I guess I'll just have to wait until classes start and find out then.

Too bad it's so cloudy today; since everything's closed on Sunday, today would be perfect to spend all day in the pool (I managed to swim three lengths of the pool (with lots of resting) yesterday without resorting to doggy paddle and without practically drowning myself); really need to get better at swimming, especially since I've got a pool to practice in, and swimming in open-water is probably not a good idea just yet hahaha. Tried running today, but the hilliness is horribly steep here (should've expected that, especially since every time we drive up here or down to the town I start feeling dizzy, lightheaded, and mildly nauseous, what with how the road goes up, down, sideways and is entirely too fond of sharp turns) so I gave up in disgust after ten minutes. Maybe getting up earlier (been sleeping in to 10.00 every morning lately, ugh) will help... maybe if I try fifteen minutes tomorrow (hold out for twenty if possible) and see if I can get better at this.

The Bard's Tale is a fun game.
