I suppose I suffer from an irrational fear of failure. It's one thing for me to turn in a pathetic lame-ass excuse for a term paper (in my opinion), since the professors will still eat it up with a spoon (probably due to my peers atrocious lack of basic writing skills); it's something completely different to write something that should be fun and have it turn out... flat, boring, sounds-like-a-term-paper. Apparently I have a good writing voice--tends to be a bit sarcastic and rather dry (sometimes very dry) most of the time--but would it translate well to fiction? Hmm.
We shall see. Eventually.
