Details: I read a few good/interesting Otaku Senshi fic, and decided that hey, since it's possible to create decent Otaku Senshi, I should go for it! I did some research on planets and moons and mythology and things (that was interesting), came up with a five member team ("The Lost Senshi", or something like that; only two of 'em show up in the fic), actually outlined a sort-of plot on index cards (well, 1/4 index cards cuz I write small)... and got stuck figuring out a few of the details. Oh, and I decided to cross it over a bit with Whistle!, because Mizuno Ami (BSSM) and Mizuno Tatsuya (W!) have the same last name so they must be related zomg! Yeah, lame, I know, but I don't care. It amuses me, and that's what matters. Writing for myself here. And I needed someone to get possessed, and I figured Tatsu-bon would do nicely. Heheh. Now I'm really interested in this one again...

Details: I am easily amused. Don't remember where the idea came from originally, but it amused me a great deal. Did some research on Wikipedia (love that site--lots of interesting things) about genetic mutations and intersex people (fascinating stuff), figured out a wonderfully screwed up genetic cocktail for my OC (wanted to name him Jean (the French name--and people would pronounce it wrong and it would be amusing) and have the girly version be Jeanne or something, but then I remembered Jean Grey, and got stuck on a name. And then decided that Gene/Jean (haha, I kill myself with amusement) would be perfect, and decided that it would do unless I came up with something better) to explain why his powers are so damn weird and rather useless in combat (in the show, at least, it looked like all the mutants were useful in combat). I got a nice little list of Stuff to Happen; don't think this fic is going to have one nice big plot--more of a few short plot-like bits, if that makes sense. Fiddled with the chronological order a bit, fiddled with the story order a bit... and then never started writing.

I did some prowling around for info, managed to come up with The Plot Device to get the Get Backers in the US (still haven't found out where Dakota is supposed to be (and thinking of the states North/South Dakota doesn't help)--put it on the west coast somewhere to be convenient), made up a few of Things to Happen involving said Plot Device... and stalled. Heh. I think this would be a pretty fun fic, if I could get it to work well. Shouldn't be too long of a fic.

Did some research-like stuff on ghosts and thingies--there's some really crazy/interesting/weird stuff out there, haha. So... figured out a basic plot, sorta, decided to put it after the Death-T arc in the manga, and it probably won't fit in before Duelist Kingdom, so oh well. Idly considered working in a bit of Kaiba/Jounouchi (love that pairing when done well), but I don't think it would work. And then I didn't write.

I was obsessing about Bleach for a while before I discovered the fun-ness that is Danny Phantom (completely by accident--heard about it in fanficrants, decided it sounded kinda interesting, but it was an American cartoon, and I tend to not like the animation and the voices in the recent ones so I didn't go searching for it). And then I thought "Ooh. Since both series deal with the whole ghost thing differently, how would a crossover between them work? Hmm..."

Details: Well, first I figured out how the two series could co-exist; pretty easy (the Ghost Zone exists either in the whole world minus Japan, or just the US; Japan has the whole Soul Society thing, because some dead dudes decided it was a good idea, and since Japan has a history of being isolationist, I figured the dead dudes would be the same). Then, I needed Teh Plot Device: or, why Danny would be in Japan (or why Ichigo would be in the US, but I think that would be harder). Decided that either Danny's parents decided to go ghost hunting in Japan over one of the school holidays (it'll be educational! and culteral and stuff! and ghosts!), or that Danny's parents knew that weird Don Kaionji dude when they were in college, and are off for a visit. Not sure if Danny's friends will be allowed to tag along--that might make it too many characters to deal with. Also figured out many ways of making Danny's life difficult (man, was that fun); since the rules for ghosts in Japan are different (all that stuff about Hollows and Pluses (or whatever) and the Shinigami and Soul Society), Danny's powers will work differently, or not at all. And of course, his mucking about will attract Rukia's attention, and there we go. Figured out a few amusing things. But the biggest problem is still the lack of a plot. I don't think the sorta-disjointed thingy I wanna do for the X-Men: Evo fic will work for this story... And I have no idea where to put it, timeline-wise. Want to put it after the Soul Society arc, but that just ended and I haven't seen enough of what happens after to figure out how it would work. The Danny Phantom side is easy, I can probably stick it almost anywhere, but I think a bit later on in the series would be good (so Danny isn't completely incompetent at ghost-fighting).

Details: Yeah, this idea's from way back when I first started watching DP, and hadn't yet gotten over the "okay, he's a ghost now... where's his physical body? o_o" thing. That reaction's maybe partly due to Yuu*Yuu*Hakusho (which I need to see more of), but mostly due to Bleach, which I had been obsessing about for a few weeks before I accidentally found out how fun Danny Phantom is. So, yeah. Decided that Danny's and Vlad's bodies had to go SOMEWHERE, and wondered what would happen if, when they returned to human form, they got stuck in the wrong body. Would probably never work, due to how the whole ghost-powers thing works, but still interesting (I can't be the only one who likes stories that involve body-switching).

In the latter, the Teen Titans have crashed on a random planet and Beast Boy's looking for Cyborg, finds his leg, hears Cyborg calling, goes through the bushes, stares at Cyborg's head on the ground and freaks out "aah! You're just a head!" until Cyborg tells him "No, I'm fine, just *raises upper arms from under the ground* some assembly required. Now get your green butt together and dig me out of here." Hee. Amused. Need to fit that all into one icon and still have it useable for LJ. Shouldn't be too hard. I've got the screencaps (more than I need), just need to put them all together and add text.

Details: Because really, weird shit happens in Sandford. It's, like, the law. And that Transformers crossover I read on the LJ comm was really good. Also, someone mentioned mpreg and wondered why no one inflicted it on this fandom yet since hey, there's already some pretty cracked-out people in it. So I decided to make it possible by introducing aliens, and inflicting them on Nicolas. Mhmm... slashy version and gen version, though I'm probably never going to write it because it's kind of... weird... and I don't really want to be the one to inflict this shit on the fandom, especially since I only lurk there. Still, it amused me, so it goes on here in case I lose my mind and desperately want to write something cracky.

Details: Naruto episode 5, "Failure? Kakashi's Conclusion" and Teen Titans Season 4 "Stranded". In the former, Kakashi does the Earth Style Decapitation Technique on Sasuke (yanks him into the ground so only his head sticks out); Sakura runs by, looks about to pass out again at seeing Sasuke, Sasuke says "hey", Sakura screeches "aaah, now it's a severed head!" and passes out, Sasuke goes "-_- what's her problem?". In the latter, the Teen Titans have crashed on a random planet and Beast Boy's looking for Cyborg, finds his leg, hears Cyborg calling, goes through the bushes, stares at Cyborg's head on the ground and freaks out "aah! You're just a head!" until Cyborg tells him "No, I'm fine, just *raises upper arms from under the ground* some assembly required. Now get your green butt together and dig me out of here." Hee. Amused. Need to fit that all into one icon and still have it useable for LJ. Shouldn't be too hard. I've got the screencaps (more than I need), just need to put them all together and add text.

About the list: Damn, that's a lot of stuff! Didn't know I still had that many ideas. Managed to make two of the icons, though I also added two fanfic ideas so that sort of evens it out. Fanfic... well, I should be able to write at least one or two of the shorter ones, especially that BSSM/WK one--textfile for that's been on my drive for years (for real this time)... and hopefully get started on one of the slightly longer ones (really wanna write the Danny Phantom/Bleach crossover--need a real plot, argh!). We'll see how this works out...
