I am such a dork, getting excited over new free programs to play with.
MyCorkboard is a fullscreen thingy that looks like a corkboard. It captured my attention for a full fifteen minutes before I was distracted by another post in the Forward Motion forums (I lurk there occasionally) about KeyNote. Apparently, one can play pranks on others running MyCorkboard, but since I'm the only one on my network who has it, I couldn't play with that. However, MyCorkboard seems to have messed up my search-thing. I used to be able to type some words in the Address bar and MSN would look it up on search.msn. Now I get some kind of IP address 404 Error thing that does jack shit. I am not pleased. I'll be getting rid of MyCorkboard since I don't really need it for anything, and my search had better return to normal. Otherwise I'll have to figure out how to fix it myself and that requires a bit of work.
KeyNote, on the other hand, is very cool. It's like
TreePad, but much, much cooler. The only thing cooler on TreePad is the tree icon it has. Other than that... Bye-bye TreePad, hello KeyNote. If I was willing to pay for TreePad Plus (I have TreePad Light) or something, then it might be improved. But KeyNote is definately staying. Moving all my TreePad stuff into KeyNote is fun. I can do nice crap with it. And insert pictures. Very useful for my cosplay document (hardy har har--as if I'll ever be able to make one of those costumes, let alone three). All KeyNote needs is some more icons.
