It will be summertime
And the air will be hot
With that thickness to it
Before a storm start
And the rain will begin
And the grass will sway
And together I'll remember us always this way
And I'll take your hands
And I'll point to the sky
And you'll wish that we never met
A life sans goodbye
The stars will be muffled
Thick grief veils their light
The moon has retired
On this tar black night
And the wind will start stirring
Like a hound on the trail
It will howl and churn
And summon down hail
But all that will come is the drops of the rain
That tears from its housing
And drops on the pane
Of the window
And slides like a snake in the grass
Makes puddles of mud
And rippling glass
You'll remember those nights
When our legs tangled tight
And no words were said
As we toast to the night
And I'll kiss your lips
As the rain starts to pour
And you'll pull away
As your heart starts to stir
And the lighting will crash
And the thunder will roll
And you'll run from me
And tear out my soul
And I'll chase you for it
When the storm has stopped brewing
And so is the strength of goodbyes
Sad, no? Sorry, didn't mean to depress:P
