By embedded message thinger, do you mean a lj cut or a block quote?
Or do mean something else entirely or something not for LJ?
Either way, first time I actually saw you use the word fuck for yourself, which I gotta say is a pretty impressive feat for having horrible customers.
Speaking of which, you could probably take a look at customerssuck for fellow commiserators (or people who commiserate since I don't think commiserator is a word). XDXD
There are times where I wish I wasn't so considerate towards customers. I've practically become the store's posterboy for good customer relations. Not that that's a bad thing, I LIKE most of the people who come through. They're polite, considerate, patient and show a good deal of common sense and courtesy.
But goddamn, some people just think they can walk all over you. And I haven't quite yet learned how to aggressively retaliate against people like them with a straight face. Normally, I end up passing the situation over to one of the higher managers. I mean, I've even seen three of them blow up at some of the idiots who stop by.
But in answer to your question, I think it's an LJ cut.

LJ cuts are everyone's best friend. No lie. XD
To use a lj cut, basically, you do <*lj-cut*> INSERT THE TEXT YOU WANT CUT HERE <*/lj-cut*>
If you actually want your lj-cut link to say something other than "Read more" than it's <*lj-cut text="text for cut link"*> whatever text you're cutting <*/lj-cut*>
All of those, without the astericks between the brackets and lj and cut since I just inserted the astericks to make sure html wouldn't funk up this comment.
IF MY EXPLANATION DOESN'T MAKE SENSE (since it's after 1), here's a handy dandy FAQ link. XD
Haha, for people like that, I have a nice policy of killing with a smile... or being very sweetly sarcastic.
Now I know what you're up to on days we don't ride the commutertron together! XD I would seriously bash heads if I had customers that annoyingly stupid. Especially if I could get them in their cars, where fewer people are likely to witness it... >_>
