this monk approached me while i way playing guitar in next to the creek and his translator said, "he wants to listen to you sing" so i sang him a song and then the translator said "he wants you to to sing a song about the moon" so i made one up. now he's determined that i will sing all these sutras that i've never heard and is in the process of turning them from tibetan to english so that i can set them to music. every time i ask him his name he tells me something different and every time he makes eye contact with anyone he laughs happily.
