Midseason post-season predictions.
Now that we have reached the midpoint of our NFL season, it's time for me to make my ill-fated predictions as to who will be making the playoffs. deirdre is free to laugh at me.
AFC East: New England Patriots.
AFC North: Pittsburgh Steelers
AFC South: Colts
AFC West: A team to be named later, and by named later I mean destroyed in the first round of playoffs. Put a gun to my head and I'll say San Diego.
AFC Wildcard - Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills. Yes, you can start laughing at me now. I really like the Bills this year though, good running game, good lines on both sides of the ball, and if it weren't for a couple close plays they'd be 6-2 right now.
NFC East: Cowboys
NFC North: I can't believe I'm typing this, but I think the Lions are going to take the NFC north. I *heart* Green Bay, but if you can't run the ball, you can't win your division.
NFC South: I suppose New Orleans. God, who cares.
NFC West: Sweet Jesus I could not care less. I'll just give it up for the Seahawks so I can appease drishta_ro.
NFC Wildcard - Sacrificial lambs for the slaughter. Tampa Bay and Green Bay. You will perish in flames! Wait for the signal and all prisoners will be released!
I hope to god in 8 weeks you are all mocking me mercilessly for these predictions. I will have earned it.
