I used to burn a lot of CDs. I had to share a computer with my parents, and they hated my music taking up space on their hard drive. So yeah. Lots of CDs. And I still have them. did you spend a lot of time putting songs into a certain order? or are they just whatever you could throw onto a cd?

I would spend a couple hours arranging the songs, listening to the last 15 seconds of one to hear how it transitioned to the first 15 seconds of the next, usually making sure to end with the most depressing or ballad-like... it was an art :P and *definitely* a favorite past time. Why do you ask? Did you totally do it too?

I agree making mixes is totally an art!

I did do something similar! I wasn't as detailed as you were but I was very conscious of how the mix should flow & the overall feeling! :)
