(no subject)
Well. I'm back. It's hotter than hell, and I got a severe sinus attack on the plane as we descended into DFW and it's still with me. I feel like crap. Other than that, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice my room is. It's a single with decent furniture and a tv (no cable) with a vcr. But the highlight of it all is my own bathroom with a shower/tub. We just got word this afternoon that our section of the building has a refrigerator and a microwave, so guess who is not stepping foot in the NASTY chow hall? Yep, you guessed it. The biggest downer is not having my car. I can't even begin to describe how crazy it makes me to not be able to come and go as I please. I think that's going to change here soon, cause one of my friends in the area is going out of town and I think she's going to be very sweet and let me use her car while she's gone.
Anyway, I'm off to persuade someone to take me into town so I can get some food.
