Here's something interesting for you guys to read. I was reading different blogs on myspace and ran into this one. Let me send out my disclaimer on this one ... it's one man's opinion of what Christianity is, what Christianity is not, and what it all should be. See my opinions under the article. I'd love to hear what you guys think ( Read more... )

To the faceless person that finds it necessary to hide behind the anonymous option, I don't even know why I bother replying to this but I will nonetheless ...

Yes, 'believer in the ONLY true God' ...

My faith teaches me a lot of things and one of those things is that there are several false gods.

You are correct, I am entitled to my opinion and I'm glad you point that out and I assume you understand it. This is my journal thus 99.9% of the things posted here are my opinion. I do not expect anyone else to agree with me thus the beauty of opinions. Some may agree, some may disagree.

As a person who has struggled in my own faith, I find that it does ultimately concern me. And I'm sure I speak for most of the Christian based faith, it's not an assumption, it's faith after all. As blind as it may be to the outside eye, it's not blind to those who believe in it. I've gone through several ordeals in my life that, I know, without doubt, I would have never made it through had it not been for my faith.

I simply posted a blog ... another man's opinion of Christianity. Then, I gave my opinion. Did I mention that everyone who doesn't believe as I do will go to hell? No, I didn't. But while I'm on the subject, yes, ultimately I do believe that people who don't accept Christ [the ONLY Christ, as I see it] will go to hell. And along with that comes Jesus.

My entry wasn't a judgement on anyone. Just an opinion on what I believe. If you want to see it as some sort of judgement, then so be it. To each his own. If you knew anything about me, you'd know that I did not pass judgement on other people. That said, I have shared my faith, my believe, my love for the Lord with many people ... some accepting, some not so accepting.

Me [and the others you speak of] are certainly in a position to live by the teachings of the Christian faith. The Bible [what we as Christian study] speaks of this often. '...no one comes to the Father except through Jesus the Son...' that mere passage alone tells us what you may deny.

I have tons of friends who don't believe as I do. I love them all the same and pray for them just as I pray for my Christian friends.

I hope that you find something positive in this reply. Questions, feel free to ask. I may not have all the answers but I will certainly try to help in any way I can.
