Commitment

So, this is it.  Approximately a year and a month ago, one Missa did verily ask one Scotty for his hand in marriage... and one Scotty did thusly say, "I Shall".  So that part is over... now comes the execution, the ceremony, the invitations, the favors and parties and balancing of family photos and outfit expenditures with personal life and ekking ( Read more... )

Congrats on the wedding. I can't beleve you've come as far as you have :) Wedding plans will seem minute and meaningless after the whole thing is over (I don't speak from experience, I just hope that's how it goes) and you'll probably ask what the big deal was.

So where will the Wedding take place?

*smile* thankye, and the wedding will be at the garden pergola at lake shawnee, ideally outdoors, and timed in may, so hopefully everything there will be in bloom when we walk down the aisle. And I hope you're right also, the planning efforts are getting into full swing, outfits and food and reception plans, but the biggest thing has been getting close to everyone again as we all come together to make this happen, and just enjoy all the new company. Have to find out what journeys you're on lately, its been... literally years, whats new??

I have an art show May 2-3rd. I will be hanging my art with my grandmother in Chanute. Hopefully it won't be those two days.

Not much is new. I'm a Junior in college, still at Washburn, and will eventually be getting a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

What are you up to?

Nice, very nice, I'm glad to see you've surpassed some of the hurdles that troubled you before about doing the college thang. And I'm currently contemplating grad school sometime down the road here, also thinking of moving from attendant care provider to CNA or LPN or something else along those lines, but we'll see. I'm also eyeballing child care provider positions. Also taking the odd voice lesson at washburn when time and money permits, I do know I sometimes pine for the performance world again. Other than that, learning the feeling of being a groom-to-be, and trying to stay on task for all that. And lately trying to get back in touch with all sorts of people I haven't seen in forever.

Probably the most insightful I've ever heard you be. I like this new Scott. Even though we don't always get along, I think that she is good for you. Let me know as things get closer if there is anything that I can do. I plan to be your permanent on call bitch the week before.
