my thoughts on valentines, I suppose. KJ said I oughta post this poem I wrote, so here ya go everyone!

Valentine?

Will you be my valentine?
Can I in some way be yours
Or you mine?
Is there really such a thing
As ownership of a heart?
And if you don’t have such a claim
Do you really fall apart?

Will you be my valentine?
Will you just be there?
When I need someone to cuddle
When I need someone to care?

Will I ever know a true love?
Will I ever find my twin?
Will I ever find that kindred spirit?
Is wishing for one a sin?

Will you be my valentine?
Will you remember me in the end?
Will you be my everything?
Or even, just a friend?

Will I find that shining star?
Will the harvest moon be mine?
Can I have the world on a string?
Or should I just get in line?

Will you be my valentine?
Will you pull me up when I fall?
Will you be there for me, be real for me?
Is love even real, at all?

critiques are welcome, I"m always trying to improve my style... sorta... but I always appreciate some constructive critiscism
