time passes
my last post was this time 5 years ago. i've since graduated with 2 separate honours degrees, one in philosophy, one in psychology. i convocated with the arts medal, the president's medal, my college's award of merit, and an acceptance into a theoretical psychology graduate program.

It's ironic in a good way that you posted this, because we knew each other in the 2006-ish era and I've been reconnecting with people I knew during that time frame. (You're free to do with this message whatever best suits you. I mean that in the best possible way as I'm bad with conveying tone.)
You knew me when I had just gotten married and was pregnant with my oldest son. It was my fault for not divulging that the reason I... posted some of the things I did to my journal owed to the fact that I was being physically abused during that pregnancy, and in retrospect, I should have been more forthcoming about this reaching out to some of the people that I trusted (I did get out of the situation).
I am now a widow in the absolute sense, because my oldest son's father - long story on the rest of it, I'll tell it sometime when I find all of the words if you want to know - is now dead. I became a widow at 37.
I'm genuinely interested in reconnecting if you are, and hopefully on much better terms now that time has passed. Jason is nearly eighteen years old (days! DAYS until he turns eighteen!) and is an absolute sweetheart. If you'd like to DM me on whatever social media site suits you, my DMs are and will remain open.
