Gorgeous summertime pulse storm hit us an hour or two ago. We needed the rain, but it was FRUSTRATING.
Here I've got an active SVR, the continual low growling of thunder rapidly crescendo-ing, a series of outflow gusts each stronger than the last and blasting leaves all over the place ...
AND THE SKY WAS UNIFORM GREY-BLUE-TO-DARK-GREY! There's *no* cloud structure to photograph. Nothing cool to look at, no striations, towers, cool swirly updrafts or scud patterns or ... or ...
AND DSL WAS OUT YET AGAIN! So I can't get any radar updates or see what's going on that's not visible to the naked eye.
I mean, what's the *point* of moving all the not-yet-put-into-the-ground plants under cover, and living in the country, if it doesn't help me produce really cool storm pics?
And what's the point of paying 2x, 3x the regular monthly rates for DSL that goes out the second there's a drop of rain in the county next door?
(grump)
(Quit trying to cheer me up, you stupid cat)
