My cell phone was lost/stolen last month while I was on a business trip. Loss was discovered within 5 minutes and before leaving a 50' perimeter, but it was never found, never turned in, and whoever picked it up did not respond to calls or texts so it has been nuked and the number transferred to an interim phone.
Unbeknownst to me, whatever setup I had for saving my Contacts off the SIM card ... didn't. So I am missing phone numbers for the majority of my social group, and nearly all of my filking friends.
Also missing are all of the text histories, which I do feel stupid about because I never got around to transcribing a lot of addresses into some other permanent storage.
Most of you I have email addresses for, so it's not a total loss.
But if I've called you or smail-mailed to you in the past, don't assume that I still have your information.
If you'd like me to have your number, email it to me, or post it in a response here. I've got all comments screened, and will delete them as I enter them into my phone.
Thanks.
(I have logged and deleted responses from K, E, and Q - thanks so much! Am deleting them rather than have them here to risk accidental unscreening later)
