The scammers have leapt onto this golden opportunity to send phishing emails about the bank change and cash in on any potential customer confusion. Big-time.
Just out of curiousity, I did a search for 'gmac' in my gmail spam folder before purging them all. Over 25% of the spam matched ... that's impressive. Even Acai, pharmacy/viagra/vicodin/etc, rolex/watch and other things, seldom hit 10% each, although dick-size stuff is usually around 10%.
It's been a while since I've seen stock and investment-related spam. Wonder what happened, maybe the detection and prosecution has gotten better?
*We haven't been GMAC customers in a very, very long time. They are on my "avoid at all costs, never again use them" shitlist and calling themselves an 'ally' won't change that.
