I know.. haven't posted in a while. Apparently second year of teaching plus graduate classes does not make for a fulfilling journal.
I just got a phone call that a friend from elementary school and high school passed away. She was fine a week ago then had a severe headache on Friday. By Saturday, she suffered a stroke and couldn't walk. By Sunday was on life support and by Tuesday her obituary is in the paper. How does this happen to a 26 year old?
