Metro Airport
My parents flew out of DTW yesterday for their vacation to Arizona. My dad goes on vacation to escape work and always brings his newest tech toys to give him something to do. So as usual he had his new $500 TomTom and digital camera (that still had pictures from Emily's birth).
When my parents picked up the rental car, they went to get TomTom out and couldn't find it. So they drive 200 miles to their hotel and unpack hoping to find it. Nope, no TomTom. So my parents call my sister to see if they left it at home. Nope, still no TomTom. So my mom calls Northwest and is told "next time you are at the airport, fill out a form and then we will look for it." Um, your employee that stole is probably still on duty and it won't be there in 6 days when my parents are back in Metro.
I told them to call Romulus police and get a police report so at least their homeowners insurance can go after DTW/Northwest and maybe call the local news to create drama for the airport. Apparently this is how Northwest plans to get out of bankruptcy.
