So, the FBI admits they abused no-knock warrants, and the White House pledges no more abuses.

But still - no oversight. No checks. Trust us, we're keeping you safe from Terrorists (tm).

And guess what? The litany of abuse of unchecked power - how unAmerican, given that the whole founding framework of our country is about checks on government power, implying a deep distrust of the whole "trust us!" crap - will continue until the PEOPLE elect politicians who will at least attempt to put the Genii back in the bottle.
