What do I do when I'm bored? I shop.
Why did I go crawling back to DQ? To start saving a little money.
What have I been doing with this money to be saved? Spending it.
What did I spend it on? Moccasins and a ring.
Yeah....I woke up this morning and don't have to work 'til noon so I decided to take a drive to the Super Target in Cedar Rapids and see if they had the moccasins in my size, seeing as the Iowa City Target never has what I want in my size. Luck was on my side...they had the perfect fit and, to my surprise, the ring I saw online but didn't wanna order to avoid racking up my credit card bill again. One left...so of course my instinct says, "Buy it now, it might not be there when you want it later." So I bought the ring, too. Now, some of you might be thinking to yourselves, "Moccasins, Allie? I thought you had better fashion sense than that." Umm, eat shit and die. I like 'em and they have a bit of flair to 'em. They're comfy as all get out and the Boho look is so in right now. If you don't like 'em, then don't look at my adorably small and stumpy feet. Uhhh, I really kinda wanna wear 'em to work but I know they'll get dirty. Ice cream just does not come out of suede. Nor does hot fudge. Both of which I end up splattering on myself at some point in any given shift.
I'm finally getting my hair did at 6:30 tonight...my friend, Marcia, wasn't working yesterday after I got off work, so I had to put that on hold. And I definitely didn't wake up early enough yesterday to do it before work, lol. I knew I wouldn't. I really need to start waking up early...I have so much to do...renew my license, get an oil change, write cover letters, etc. Why am I so lazy? M'tay, I'm off to work. Holler.
