(no subject)
well, i've been feeling really well this last week. probably because i don't have to go back to dad's office any time soon. he offered me a more permanent job in a similar dept., but i can't take that kind of stress, so Fiona snatched up it. i'm not regretting that at all, because my anxiety has been a little more visual than normal, but that might just be my PMS stuff. anyways, i really feel good even though i've put off my homework until the day before its due, which is odd because normally i'd be panicking as i play the sims instead of annotate my sources.
mom's having some womens meeting at our house this month, so all day Friday we're having house cleaners do an epic job in every room. this might make me feel less cheery, because mom has a seriously scary "cleaning mode" where she turns into a robot and just focuses on cleaning, nothing else, not even your emotions. so, these next couple of weeks leading up to her meeting might be hell for all of us, including Scruffles.
also, ontd_pinto has been amazing, more than usual. and i've been slowly mustering up the courage to create a post with ticky boxes...but i'm still too nervous.
sad news: THE BULB IN OUR 73" TV BURNED OUT YESTERDAY. HOW WILL WE WATCH BOARDWALK EMPIRE TONIGHT? I GUESS ONE OF THE OTHER TWO TVS WITH COMCAST WILL HAVE TO DO :|
