So, I need to fix my current hard drive. It's getting squeaky and pretty sure it needs some new grease. I'm sure I might be working in computers after college. it just seems so plausible day after day.
I hope my laptop makes it. I want to get in some good gaming over the break. And I might be coming back with an Xbox 360, oooooh. Exotic.
(On a side note, something that has always been on my mind. I am a dork, and I'm a gamer. And yes, I am proud of both, they've given me some interesting experiences and I'm not stuck up.
But I think I've felt ashamed sometimes because gamer nerds are sometimes shown as the kind who play games non-stop, get so involved in them and play 20 hours at a time. And then keep playing and never really do anything with their lives. Sure, ooh, you have 3 level 70's in WoW and the best Super Smash Brothers played on your floor but...that's it. But to skip important events to play games is just irresponsible.
And sure, there have been times when I have played a game for a long period of time, or stayed up way later than I should have. But have never gotten so bad as to skip a night out with my buddies because I was raiding, and there have been times when a night with my buddies would involve gaming. You know, a couple of NES fests and relive the old days. And then there are the LAN parties...scary to me though, not my thing. But it works for others.
Anyway I, I know it's kinda a roundabout way of saying it, but I guess the whole point I'm tryin' to make here is, I hate sauerkraut. That's all I'm really trying to say. No, I kid.
I like to play games and I like to have a life at the same time. I have friends, a family, a girlfriend and a job soon again, hopefully. And no way would I let something like Assassin's Creed get in the way...that's what break is for ^_^)
