Transit of Venus

Saw the transit of Venus. Was one a few years back, but the next isn't due until 2125.

I saw the last one, but this one wasn't visible around here because of the clouds.

Fortunately, here there were numerous breaks in the clouds.

I think the transit is rather better known in Australia due to the one in 1769, which started a chain of events that led to the European colonisation of Australia.
