This week has been nutz with a capital z! Ben is finally back (ba baba ba!!!) and he has been making up for his seven weeks away in spades! I've seen the kid now three days in a row-when he was home I didn't even get that kind of time with him. Its fucking awesome. We haven't hung out like this since high school.
So Monday I met Ben at his place and we farted around for a few hours with his friend Kristina while he did all of his wicked nasty laundry from camp and then he and I puttered around Danbury for a bit and I introduced him to the one..the only...Dane-I will sleep with you-Cook! Now that kid is in love and rightfully so. So after listening to the entire album he and I go see Wedding Crashers-so good! I didn't think I'd get to see any blockbusters this summer and then Ben's home one day and boom! I'm back up to date with the rest of the world.
Tuesday was all about making Ben's parents feel good about him shopping with a $300 budget. Haha-his dad actually asked him if he were bringing someone smarter then him to go shopping. Oh Mr. Hawley you slay me! So we went to Target and to Steve and Barry's-now for those of you who don't know Steve and Barry's let me try to explain it in what I've come to understand it to be. Its this very cheap, wicked awesome store that started selling old shirts and hoodies from colleges. Then it blossomed into this store that catered mainly to college kids and is now becoming a pretty cheap yet very hip all ages store. The entire place is on sale for 5.98 or less! You can get pea coats and letter jackets for 6 bucks! Are you reading this?!?! Six bucks! And they aren't shitty, thrift store items oh no! They are all perfectly good products that there was just too much of or didn't sell fast enough or were simply made by very nice people then sold for wicked cheap! Its great! Ben got a jacket, three pairs of pants, three sweaters, and some shirts for under 50 bucks! You people think Old Navy is cheap? Fuck Old Navy! Ben then went across the way to Old Navy and bought 3 collared shirts for 50 bucks. Whose cheap now? Hmm? Anyways so yeah-great store. Then I had to go work but it was all good cause we had a wicked nice crew closing that evening so it was fun.
Today was basically the same as yesterday only with different people. Ben, Liz and I went to Target and shopped for me and then to Fashion Bug and the evil Walmart. Yes, Ben forced me into the depths of hell not once but twice in a single day. He owes me big time. But Ben had to leave at 3 so Liz and I hung out and then I dropped Liz at work. Then I met Dave and we went to Steve and Barry's in a different mall and it was so not nearly as awesome as the one I went to with Ben. I didn't buy a single thing there (which was good considering I bought too much at Target and Fashion Bug hehe) but it was alright. Then he and I puttered around the Trumbull mall and I bought two pairs of sunglasses at Hot Topic making it a total of four pairs bought in one day. I know-its sick-I cannot help myself, Dave was amazed at how I gravitated to the sunglasses display in every store. He was just like whats wrong with you? Oh well. Then he and I went to eat at Ruby Tuesdays where Dave began his task of introducing me to new things. You see, he and I had the food talk finally and now hes hell bent on making me eat new things. So tonight was the first of what will surely be many nights of me getting scolded and then educated by Dave. So nice to have friends that refuse to let me continue on such an ig'nant ass foo...
Um folks... I'm going back to school in less then a week. I'll be a damned senior in less then a week!!! What the fuck is that?!?! Agh!!!!!! I'm freaking out now because I got my schedule at work today and its all kinds of fucked. The idiot that does our schedules told me I would only be working until Sunday but she mixed up my schedule with Liz Ks and now I'm working through Wednesday. Does this give Lizz any time to pack? Um no. I'm very worried. I'm also worried because I still don't know exactly which day I'm moving in. SGA still hasn't sent out any info regarding Howie's Helpers and I haven't heard back from Red Key as to whether they need me or not for the International tour. I have two possible days in which to move in early and I still don't know about either one.... So frustrating!!
Wow-this post got really long really fast-sorry about that kids. Its only Wednesday! Can you imagine what I'll have to say by Saturday?!?!
