So I'm good. Things have gotten better on a number of levels.
The house is calm currently and work is just as great as ever. I have three more weeks there and then its off to start my senior year-I know, fucked up man....
Tomorrow I work yet another 8 1/2 hour day and then its off to the Zoo on Monday for trip number 2! Oh man is this gal ever happy. I'm taking one of my co-workers there for the first time, can you believe that? If there are people out there reading this that have never been to the Bronx Zoo, give me a call, cause that just ain't right.
Ashley called me today and HellFest is officially happening! Whoo Hoo!!! We've decided to only go on Saturday since thats when 75% of the bands we want to see are playing and its only gonna cost us 41 bucks! Sigh... Life is grand. So I get to see: Public Enemy, Evergreen Terrace, Most Precious Blood, The Bouncing Souls, Against Me!, Boy Sets Fire, and Planes Mistaken for Stars! And those are only the bands I know! Haha! There are about fifty other bands I get to discover the same day! Oh man... I'm fucking pleased... Who would like to go? Its Saturday the 20th of August in Trenton NJ and its only 41 bucks for the whole day. Ya'll ain't been to a show til you go to HellFest I'm telling ya. Fuck its gonna be good!
I also get to go to the Renaissance Fair yet again this year, my co-worker and her roommate will be tagging along with me and the moms this year so it should be a quality time. I'm excited for the shopping and the role playing and the actors in tight pants haha! This summer has actually turned out pretty fucking well aside from all the family craziness. Eventhough I didn't get to go to Arizona I've still somehow managed to do everything else I'd set out to accomplish. Granted I have no funds for school but what else is new? Even if I did have cash it'd all be gone the first month anyways. Thats how I'm justifying all of this so just let me live in my ignorance will you? Haha-I'm nuts....
