"No Loyalties" Pt. 1
The truth shall set you free. What is true to some is only the beginning to others, where their journey begins. We are all on quests now. Some seek adventure in far off lands, distant shores, or within the mind. Some seek refuge from a world gone mad, feasting on its own decadence. Some seek the glorious past which seems only to become brighter with age. Some seek a means to an end that has already come to pass. What do I seek? Surely the usual, yes. Vengeance, cleansing, a warm feeling to sooth my frozen heart. We stand upon the edge now, looking into that chasm of the future with breath abated. Do we go quietly into the night, embracing our cages at long last? Or do we fight back? Do we lash out with anger or hope or pride or anything else that burns within is? I am fueled by hatred and violence, which turns raw energy into something good in this world. My methods are less than usual. At the end of the day I may be there, but I still have no loyalties to good or evil...
