What is the nature of forgiveness? It is seen as something great and worthwhile, but in order to have it you must encounter evil, traiterous, betrayal, and quite possibly bitter hatred. Can anything good come from such evil, such darkness? Those who seek to forgive must walk chest deep in a pool of despair and pain, perhaps their only solace is indeed to forgive. And what of the fallen? Was it not their choices that caused such great upheaval and strife? They choose their paths, perhaps not wisely, but their decisions still cannot be undone. Grant them the forgiveness and they may rise again, simply to fall to even deeper depths. No, granting that graceful wish only causes evil to rise on pure, if black, wings to strike at you once again. It is this goal that I seek...
