voting and motivation
I voted like a week ago with an absentee ballot. But now that I'm done I wish that all the commercials for the election would just disappear. Unfortunately, living in Iowa, there are a lot of frigging political commercials. Can't escape them. Thank god the election will be over in 3 weeks.
Just looked at someone's journal where they listed the books they've read so far this year - which sounds like a good idea, but for which I have no motivation. Maybe I'll write them down on paper.
No motivation for much of anything else today either. Need to finish unpacking and I need to do dishes so that I will have some pots and pans for the upcoming week. And also storage containers.
And I need to go stuff the insulation back under the wall by the furnace outlets. It's the only cold spot in the house and if it's cold now and it's 40ish degrees outside I don't wanna know what it will feel like on my toes when it's 10 F. Especially since the cold spot is right underneath the desk.
