Cheerleading TRYOUT meeting and Tryouts!
CHEER TRYOUT MEETING
There will be a meeting for anyone that is interested in trying out for cheerleading for the 2006 Fall/football season. Tryouts are for Freshman, JV, and Varsity. The meeting is on Tuesday, June 6th at 11:45am. It is the last week of school, on a half day. We will be meeting in the student center. It will be appox. 30 minutes. When you come to the meeting you will be recieving information about tryouts, prices, physicals, grades and some general rules. It is very important that you come to the meeting. From this date you still have about 2 1/2 weeks until the meeting so make arrangements for rides ahead of time!! There will be a lot of important information that will be to your advantage and your parents if you attend the meeting. Otherwise you won't know anything until tryouts and this could effect your ability to tryout. The information sheet you will recieve needs to be signed and returned by your parents/guardian to tryout. Please let your friends and other girls know about the meeting. It will also be posted on the TV- and announced on Monday the 5th! If you could spread the word- that would be great! After the meeting there will be 5 days until tryouts start. That gives you almost a week ahead of time to arrange for tryouts etc.
TRYOUTS
Tryouts are scheduled for Monday, June 12th- Thursday, June 15th. The times are from 5:45-8:00pm. You can arrive anytime after 5:30pm for questions,or to stretch etc. Thursday is the actual tryout day and could go longer than 8pm- please be aware of that. Tryouts are held in the back gym (small). PLEASE be on time and dressed and ready to start.
When you arrive at tryouts- make sure you are dressed in practice clothes. NO JEANS! Hair must be pulled back in a "high" pony tail. Also, NO JEWELRY!
To give you a heads up- if you make a team- the following week we will be meeting on Monday to collect a $100 deposit for camp. (This holds your spot at camp).
