Perhaps you don't understand what it means to be Prince. Prince can be nothing but a sovereign power. To be Prince is to be the greatest power in your city. My city is a self-governing city and I do hold the highest rank within it. And to be blunt, yes I am confident in my place in my city.
Does this mean that I believe myself incapable of being killed? No it does not.
Do I believe that my city will accept the reign of any of those who are considering taking this "challenge" you believe I have thrown down? Absolutely not. In the event of my death, I have no doubt that my city will remain in the hands of the kindred who reside within it.
