You have no idea how much I would like to post a coherent reaction/comments, but I think Show may have finally succeeded in breaking me.
I finished watching about... holy shit, an hour and a half ago, and I still feel like I'm on the verge of a complete emotional breakdown.
In a (very small) nutshell:
-Mark was only there for like 5 mintutes!!! Yes, Jared was a hell of a lot better (<- irony) in this episode, but DUDE! IMMA MISS MARK!! (I blame Michelle.) Also... DEVIL WENT DOWN TO GEORGIA!!!!! As much as I'm going to miss Mark, I think I'm more depressed that I won't get any more fantastic Luci lines from the writers.
-DEEEEEEN!!!! Just... fucking ow.
-ASSBUTT!!! Nuff said.
-And... Cas is a water balloon of chunky soup - Round 2. (One of the only times I stopped with the waterworks, too busy laughing. Pretty sure that makes me a more sick, twisted person than I realized.)
-Impala backstory!! Also, Holy-Plot-Armor, Batman! I was absolutely convinced that Chuck's Impala rambling meant the end of Metallicar. Instead? That car saved the freaking world! What does it say about our show that a classic car can avert the apocalypse, and God… created Luci knowing what would happen, refuses to intervene just to carry out His… test?, and generally creates confusion and heartbreak while destroying faith?
-Speaking of God… HOLY SHIT CHUCK IS GOD!! Kripke made himself God! Kripke made himself a sadistic God who knows what’s happening and how to help, but chooses to write it down to make a profit rather than doing anything about it. And then Chuck vanishes… leaving his computer and the sort-of-ended, but still continuing story for someone else to find.
Kripke, you may be a sadistic bastard, but god-damn-it I can’t help but love you for it. It’s been quite a ride, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Here’s to Sera Gamble and Season 6!!
