I am currently in an Irish pub on the eighth floor of a building overlooking the Higashiyama mountains in downtown Kyoto.
I've just had the best chips ever (we've been eating rice and fish pretty much since touching down, so sue me), and today we walked along some of the most beautiful streets in the world.
And there were geisha.
Anyway, net access is dodgy, so longer travel logs will have to wait.
That, and we are entranced by the parking lot below, as it is staffed by the most energetic parking attendant in the world.
