*HUGGLES* you. Loved them both, but think I liked this one a little better. Maybe because you wrote more character into it. More Elapsed Time. You got Spencer's and Gideon's actions and characterization so perfectly for the story.
THANKS! Come down to the swamp, Allie will share her pizza.

Beautiful, gripping and emotional. I can see this happen. Can't say I loved it, because I feel awkward to say that with the shooting in RL and all. I can tell you that you have touched me deeply with this piece. Thanks.

Thank you for sharing this. It is wonderful to have an outlet to express your feelings under such horrible circumstances. You did an excellent job of showing Spencer's horror and grief.

Oh I remember the VG Tech thing gsyh November 7 2011, 19:39:08 UTC
It was my first year in college, having a very bad year already, and the whole shooting thing just ADDED to the anxiety of being in this big crowded space where I don't know 99% of the people, it was a major shock. I wasn't friends with everyone back in high school but we were /friendly/, we knew each other. In university, everyone just wanders in and out, you get forgotten, and then there is Crazy Killer Lurking About and you don't know.

For weeks after the shooting, I picked seats where it would be easy for me to run away and/or hide. In hindsight it was stupid in terms of odds, but it was just, one more anxiety.
