A Civic Response
TGIF - yea! I love fridays - we don't go to Wilmington to Nehemiah on these days and wind up doing Civic Responder stuff and Service Learning - whoo hoo. Its a rainy day in maryland and the team is supposed to go camping this weekend - it better not rain the whole time. we will have to bail if that's the case.
soo much has been going on this week i feel like i can't catch up on my sleep, my sanity, or my state of mind. building 15 has something different every damn day, our afternoon work has been patchy at best, my whole team is getting sick, and i feel like i've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off. it may just have to be a short day so i can get some rest.
projects department has the list of 2nd round projects set i think so its just a matter of time before i find out where we are going next. i am excited and nervous all at the same time. it seems that americorps is a wacky combo of the 2 sides - pure excitement and elation and total confusion, nervousness and frustration. Story of my life......
have to do some work with the team....
