Back on the home front.....
I always forget how nice it is to come home. ahhhh. had a hell of a time getting here on friday. my flight from baltimore to atlanta was super late so i missed my connection in Atlanta to Minneapolis. got into Atlanta around midnight only to learn that the next flight to Mpls was at 8:10am!!! hmmm. wound up spending the night in an armchair in atlanta. tried to sleep, but didn't do too well. in the morning when trying to get through security not only did the checker almost make me cry (i think it was the lack of sleep), but she put me through the super security check where they took apart my backpack and looked at everything. I was SO EXCITED to finally get on the plane.....
went to a party saturday night. got to see "the boy" - nice, but a little awkward. i guess thats how it goes when you haven't seen eachother for a while.
going to chicago next weekend. BACHELORETTE PARTY!! whoo hoo. so excited to hang with ange and tricia and the rest of the IC girls. trouble with a capital T - should be pretty crazy!!!
i've been thinking about my fire 5 girls a lot recently. i miss y'all. i was thinking about our time in albany and working with habitat (i just finished 2 monthes with habitat in bridgeport, ct). me and the team are going to Pocomoke City, MD for our final project. they aren't that excited, but i think it'll be god for us. we manage to have a good time anywhere, no matter what the story is.
anyways, just wanted to say HI. lyssa - i swear one of these days the phone tag will end and we'll actually get to talk!! michelle - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! i know its tomorrow, but just in case you read this.... Erin - I am glad that you are happy down in florida - there's lots of ncccers down there right now for hurricane charley - give them a hug if you see them on the streets of florida. april - i hope the new job is going good.
