....sleepytown!!
so its 10:45pm on a thursday and i am one of 2 people left awake in my house out of 7. crazy when most of our crew is night owls. it was a hot day though and i think the sun sucked a lot of the energy out of them. me, i made my first attempt at running today in a while and surprised the poop out of myself. i ran about a 9 and a half minute mile plus a little bit more and then walked back home. hopefully this'll start some motivation in that department cause i've been trying to motivate myself to run enough that i can run a 5K without stopping. babysteps really.
things are ok with the team. we had a family emergency amongst the crew so one of my girls went home for the week to be with her family and is coming back next monday. the rest of them are starting to debate about whether or not they want to apply to be team leaders next year. the competition will be real stiff - i hope they all get a fair stab at it.
otherwise, nothing new. all is well. i spent some time this evening talking to people that i haven't talked to in a while - it was great. caught up with some old friends.
anyways - watching maverick with some of the team. hope all is well.
