Kennywood
Yesterday - The Fall Fantasy Parade at Kennywood. I got to the school at about 2 o’clock and hung out with Linds and Courtney. We didn’t have to be there until 3, but I wasn’t doing anything else so I went down to hang out with Linds and keep her company. We went around and talked to some of the teachers. Yay! I still have Mr. Mac. After visiting Mr. Mac for a while we then went and talked to Mr. Rust. Now let me just say that if the school messed up my schedule again I am not going to be a happy camper because Mr. Rust said I wasn’t on any of his class lists. Unless he was just being dumb that means that when they changed my schedule the first time they took Chorus off, now I don’t know why they would do that because that was nowhere in the instructions. Stupid school. After venting to each other about the schools stupidness we went back the band room to get everything together for the parade and then went out to board the bus. The bus ride was quite fun! I have such a cool bus! Mrs. Ziringer got on the bus to take roll and after taking roll we noticed that Courtney and Nikki were both missing, BUT they had both been at the school prior to leaving so we had no idea where they had gone. KP insisted that we leave even if they weren’t there so we left. Monica hurried up and called Nikki’s cell phone but there was no answer so we left a message saying to call back asap! We on the parkway and all of a sudden all the buses pull over to the side. Then Nikki calls my cell phone saying that Courtney, and her on in a car with her dad right behind all the buses so they pull of in front of us and KP brings them back to the bus. That was quite an adventure, lol. We got to Kennywood at about 4:30 and the park didn’t open until 5 so we all pretty much had to walk around aimlessly until everything started to operate. It was a fun day!…we all have too much fun. It was me, Linds, Sara, Becky, Courtney and Monica. Warren and Chris came later on, but we only got to hang out with them for a little bit because we had to be back at the buses by 7 to get ready. We were the first band in the line up so we got finished quickly which was a good thing. There were a lot of people there and everyone we walked past was like “Wow, they’re going to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” it was quite amusing. After the parade I got to hang out with Chris for a while *smiles*. I was happy that he came! We had to be back on the buses by 8:50 so when that time rolled around I thanked him so much for coming and had to hurry back to the bus, because as we already know they WILL leave with or without you, lol. The bus ride home I sat with Jackie and talked to her, Elyse and Julie. It was fun and they’re all really cool! So all in all it was a great day at Kennywood. Also on the way home Julie and I were talking and Al Fang fell asleep on her bf’s shoulder (Mike Sabo). It was soooooooo cute. Made us miss our boo’s a lot!
Today is the last day of summer; tomorrow we go back to school. I just really hope that my schedule isn’t messed up or I can tell right now it will be a really stressful first day of school…After school tomorrow we have band practice and then I have to go to work...It's going to be a long day, I won't get off work until 8.
Friday is also the first football game so that should be interesting too...After the game is a sleepover at Alycia's house, I really hope I can go, but I have to check the stupid work schedule.
