Band Camp, Etc.
Haha, so much for updating in here regularly...Hmm, where did I leave off. I don't quite remember so I'll just start with last saturday
August 2nd - Jackie, Adrian, Linds and I went up to Idlewild for my dads company picnic. We had a lot of fun. "NO your NOT eating my ice cream" - Adrian (as she was eating a bowl of soup...I guess it was just one of those things where you had to be there, but it was really funny.
August 3rd - Went to work at the big Giant Eagle...wooo hoo, now those are so major fun times right there *wink wink* after work Chris came over and we hung out, he had just gotten back from his college tour of Virgina Tech. (he was gone thursday friday and came back satruday) I can not believe that he's going to be a senior, and soon they're all going to be graduating, soon I'm going to be graduating, it's crazy. It seems like just yesterday we were in kindergarden, or middle school, even freshman...now we're "big bad juniors" it's so cool to say we're finally upperclass men :) but enough about that, lol...
August 4th - The BAND golf outting. I had to get up at like the crack of dawn to go out to meadowink golf course. I had to be there by 8 so Linds and I could be hole judges, lol. We weren't exactly sure what we were supposed to do, but we slowly found out that no one would be playing our assigned hole until about an hour into the outting so we sat around for awhile, helped out Mrs.Z until it was time to go out to our hole (which let me tell you was in the middle of no where on the course). After the outting, I just came home and hung out...it was a loooong day at the golf course.
August 5th - Woke up and went out to get the mail...We got our schdeules, I was really excited, only to open it up and find out that it was all messed up, I was missing classes so I had to writed a letter and explain all that stuff to them. Now I don't think I'll know what my classes are until the first day of school. I know one thing though, they better not take me outta Mr. Mac's class. He's the best math teacher ever, I had him last year also! Ugh, later on in the day I had to go up to the school for drug desting...yuck! - enough said. After that I went out to sleep over at Linds's cause...dun dun dun...we had BAND CAMP the next day.
August 6th - The first day of BAND CAMP. 8:00-3:30 Mostly did marching (basics). Here is what a day at band camp consists of for me...Metting in the Audit. with everyone, Basics/drills or sections (we just kinda hang out in section), lunch, basics/drills, sections, half time practice (which for the time being we hang out for that too), popcicle break, more practice...that's an average day at band camp.
August 7th - BAND CAMP 8:00-3:30. After band camp Chris came to pick me up and we came back to my house and hung out. He left today for Montana with his dad and wont be home until next sunday *cries* I already miss him!! It won't be too long though.
August 8th - BAND CAMP 8:00-3:30. Came home from camp and got ready to go over to Chris's for dinner. After dinner we took his sister down to the bowling alley to meet her friend, and just ended up staying down there. I've improved my bowling! I go a 103...I BROKE 100! yay for me! We went back to his house when we were all done, and just hung out...I love being with him so much! I mean people always say you can't fall in love when your 16 and blah blah blah, but honestly I think you can because I did. You don't really know/believe it until it happens but once it does you know it and it's the best thing in the world!
Today - Got up once again at 8, but this time to go to work...another exciting day in the life of Giant Eagle, we were soooo busy! It's been so crazy and busy lately. Got off of work at 1:30, came home and got ready to go bowling with Chris, Linds, Warren and Joel. It was fun! We were there until about 3:45 and Chris had to leave to go to Montana, as I said before...I MISS HIM SO MUCH! but it won't be too long before he's home again! Now I'm just kinda sittin here...I have to work again tomorrow, ugh fun times...I really need to catch up on some sleep!
**Monday the 11th is 10 months for Chris and I, yay! - I Love You, Baby!!**
