Search for story: The team are mean to Danny after he donates part of his liver to Steve
I’m currently searching for a story where the the team treat Danny badly after the liver transplant and there are repercussions.
In the episode O Ke Ali’s Wale No Ka’u Makemake (My Desire Is Only For The Chief) (Season 6 Episode 25), Steve unfairly received all of the cards, balloons, gifts and accolades (the call of thanks from the governor), while Danny got nothing but disrespect (including Steve saying Charlie would grow up to hate him just as must as he does). Additionally, the team treats Danny badly as well. Steve realises what he’s done and that he’s also encouraged the team to do the same thing. He sets out to remedy the situation.
If I remember correctly, Lou retires (I think he was taking caffeine pills or something, which affected his judgment etc), Chin apologises and Kono is made to walk a beat due to her skipping the police academy and going straight to a job in Five-0, which made her arrogant.
