Phew, DONE! thank god this horrible semester is over. Aced both my physics and my Oceanography finals tho, Whoo! Anybody with a mac, you guys need to find the widget that is a random family guy quote generator. It doesn't have to many, but there ar many gems in there ("I don't have to listen to you, you're a dog, you don't have a soul!" is my all-time favorite, but only if Chris says it). Well, got a week and a half to kill cleaning the apartment, selling our crap and spending all to little time with our friend here. Jenny was a great person to hang out with; the cliche "everybody likes me" is not wrong at all when she says it. She had to move out thursday night while I was studying for the physics final o' mine, but Jess and a couple other friends of ours helped her clean. Luckily We treated her to lunch the night before (Denny's! WHOO-), and I said my goodbyes then. She's coming down in the summer from her school in Washington to visit as she passes through to California on an annual road trip of her's, so maybe some of y'all can meet her! Coolest Ambercrombie-wearin' person I've ever known (maybe 'cause like all of us this term she was dirt-poor after her bills and groceries were paid). (I like parentheses!). Annie is leaving the same day we are, which is awsome 'cuse she was the bestest-est friend we had over here. She lives real close to us (she actually recommended we look in this area for housing when we told here about our psychotic landlady) so we hang out everyday for the most part. She's also a Japanese major who can speak prettywell to most people here (there are so many words and phrasing difficulties that it really takes decades to master) from the "Uttermost Neon East" that we can all go to restaraunts so Japanese that the menu is only in English and, while there might be one or two haoles in the midst of the clientele, but most of the time pure, unfettered Asian guys, gals and businessmen. THE BEST seafood, THE BEST sake, FOR THE CHEAP!!!! like $5-6 a meal, seriously. Not so cheap that we can go everyday, but once a week is fine. Has anyone had sliced sea cucumber in vinegar? well, I DID!!! sorry. a little gloat. but seriously, go to Rice and Spice and get lots of Japanese crap so you can be cool, too! Botan rice candy ain't got nothin' on mochi ice cream or anything dipped in Li Hing powder (not sure if that last one is Japanese, Chinese or a local fav, but they have it all over here! on everything!). Anyway, bored again in polluted paradise without a car. Phooey. See yall soon!
