happy chinese new year!
so i went to my birth place this morning. good old beantown.
its chinese new year and thought there was a parade. but from my mom, i found out there wasn't. but apparently i got pulled into going to boston anyway.
got there a pretty early and went to see the hubby at his grandparents. it was nice to see him eventhough it was just a little bit and i havent seen him for a good while. then around lunchtime i meet up with jo and her friends (clarkies). we went to chinatown and got dim sum. for those who don't know, its a variety of chinese dumplings and goodness. so we ate and took goofy pictures with clams and pandas. then off to the streets of boston. first we got some pastries and bubble tea for jo and steph. walked around looking for places for afforable to shop. end up at the park. took more pictures with the ducklings and tadpoles. steph will have them posted up and then i can post them up. we just hung around and shopped at downtown crossing. it was good. i had a great time. got lace panties for a buck at H+M. you really can't beat that. it was relaxing and something i really need.
