Movie & late night dinner with a good friend...
This evening, I met up with one of my bestfriends, Joanne Lynn at Silver City - Famous Player's Movie Theatre. I was supposed to go to my good friend, Jackie's house to watch "The Fast & the Furious - Tokoyo Drift". But her brother let his friend borrow the burnt DVD. So, she was understanding & let me go out with one of my best friend's Joanne Lynn. Who asked me to go watch "The Devil Wears Prada" with her in the evening. It was alright. I've pretty much been watching movies every Friday again with different friends.
After the movie, we went to this new restaurant called "Joey's" which is a restaurant/lounge/Cabana Bar in celebration of pre-Canada day. When we first arrived we had to wait to be seated but we got to try some drink samples which was awesome. Then we ordered some appetizers: I ordered 4 California Sushi Tacos & Joanne ordered Calamari for both of us to share. For my main meal I asked the waiter what he recommended for a salad. So, I went with his recommendation and went with the Ahi Tuna Salad. Which was pretty good. Even though I ate 1/3rd of it. I was already full from the appetizers & having an ice caramel macchiato from Starbucks during the movie. Joanne & I always have a great time, everytime we get together we have the strangest but really good tasting food when eating out at a restaurant. I think we're going to "Joey's" for our birthday. (:
