Author's Notes: This was written for a prompt given to me about a month ago by a friend. Unfortunately, I got swept up in finishing a fic for a fest I was stupid enough to sign up for and couldn't get to it at the time. However, it's finished now. The prompt she gave me was “breathless” and this is what I do when people give me nice things. *hands* Title is from “Machinehead” by Bush.
Summary/Link: It was a slow burn build up over the past couple of years until they finally stopped dancing around the subject and talked about it. Now everything is out in the open and they’re both quite happy in their roles even if their jobs does somewhat limit the extent of their activities.
