Looking for beta in H50 fandom
Title: Seeing a Light (A Face in the Crowd)
Genre: AU (vampire retelling of the pilot episode)

Pairings or Characters: Steve/Danny (posessive!Steve kink is indulged here)
Type of beta you'd like: basic read through, continuity and I need to know that the mythology comes across understandably. I've lived in America a long time, but britishism may slip in so finding any I missed is useful too! Character voices also need to be as accurate as I can get them so feel free to suggest alternate dialogue.
Length: 11k (complete, but with very vague possibility of sequel(s) should I come up with a decent enough idea)
Short Summary: Steve McGarrett has been chasing Victor Hesse for almost 200 years. When the trail leads him back to Hawai'i, Steve meets the Detective who is investigating the homicide on his relative's case and is shocked to recognise the face of his old partner, from when he was human all those years ago.
extra notes: my vampire mythology is a mish-mash of different things, heavily influenced by The Lair, The Vampire Diaries and Moonlight (or at least, those are ones I can actively pinpoint in the story, but I'm sure it's all just generalised random vampire lore so its not necessary to know those shows, but it might help a little) I hope I explain things as I go through and that it's easy to follow.
This will be my first finished and published story in the H50 fandom. Once upon a time I wrote in Enterprise fandom (not even sure those stories are still easily available though) and most recently in Eastenders fandom for Christian/Syed. Now I need a beta who knows this fandom. I'm not so worried about speed, as I want to put out the best story that I can, but at the same time, I'm anxious to get it off my hands! Looking for that happy medium, I guess!
