Nothing says Happy 4th of July like a funeral home!

Went and saw Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, Against All Authority and Less Than Jake on the 3rd in KC. It was a great show except for the fact that LTJ somehow was headlining the show so Reel Big Fish couldn't play as long as they usually do.. It was really fun though. RBF had an AWESOME set. Drove back on the 4th and ended up watching fireworks in Bolivar on top of a funeral home that my friend's dad lives in. He doesn't actually have the keys to the top part where the chapel is but we rode on a casket elevator to get to the top and went upstairs and through the upstairs and out a window to the roof. Going through the funeral home, I got to see the prep room where they prep dead bodies of course.. It was extremely creepy but I found it very interesting.. I went straight in the room and started looking at everything.. There were a whole bunch of random metal tools in a glass cabinet and a big thing of fermaldihyde in this sci-fi looking container that had tubes coming out of it.. There was a cabinet full of finger nail polish, lipstick, pore closer, face tint and all sorts of stuff to make dead people "look good." There of course was a table right in the middle of a room and an outfit hanging up in the corner of the room.. Honestly, the room smelt like death of fermaldihyde. I thought it was pretty creepy that I was riding up an elevator that only carries dead people too. The view of the fireworks were probably the best in town.. It was somewhat peaceful even though I kept thinking.... "wow, I'm on top of a damn funeral home." "Wonderful."  My birthday is coming up in 9 days.. It's seems like this whole year has gone by really fast. My dad and I both celebrate the same exact birthday so we're going to go see Flatfoot 56 in Joplin for the occasion considering I have no ideas on what I'm supposed when turning 19.  I start my first semester of college next month.. Hopefully it all goes okay... OH YEAH! LOWER CLASS BRATS WILL BE AT THE WARPED TOUR! YAYEAHHHHH! They'll also be in Indy for all of you Indiana persons that are interested. I wish I had the money to go with people to the Indy one but, I really don't think I'd be welcome anyways... Everyone have a good night or something....          Here's a look into the twilight zone!
