That chapter is statistically out of proportion.
Most chapters of this novel are averaging about four to six thousand words, but somehow I decided this one needed to be ten thousand words. Ten thousand words starting with a character navelgazing about her feelings.
Have I mentioned I adore characters who dig deep into their emotions and ruminate on them? Adore it.
Maybe a little too much sometimes. Uh. Oh well, sometimes you just have to let the characters worry.
