I would send you a message if I remembered, but since I don't, I'll post it here: Clarion West has a five hour online workshop about Twine and IF games with Lily Yu.
Writing interactive Fiction with E. Lily Yu In this seminar and workshop with award-winning author and narrative designer E. Lily Yu, you'll discuss the intricacies, opportunities, complications, and markets for interactive fiction and other branching narratives. How do we bring playfulness to story? What are the types of nonlinear narrative, and how do we use them? During this class, you'll outline, implement, and workshop your own Twine game (basic technical knowledge of how to edit a Wikipedia article required). Advanced students may use RenPy if preferred, if they can implement quickly enough. Important: Before the workshop, play Lost Pig and The Uncle Who Works For Nintendo. Both are free online.
(Okay, that sounds pretty neat for gaming purposes if nothing else, as I presently have no desire to write IF, but it seems useful for gaming plots. But also I'm a little obsessed with those glasses in LY's pic.)
